El festival de cine independiente Slamdance cumplió dieciséis años, y le encargó a Nico Casavecchia hacer los títulos de apertura de esta edición.
Nico me invitó a construir el personaje que él diseñó y a animarlo en stop motion. Tiene un esqueleto construido especialmente para él, y una cobertura de distintas texturas, telas, puntillas, encajes y lazos. Realicé la máscara siguiendo el mismo concepto.
Esta peli fue seleccionada para la edición 2010 del Festival Internacional de Animación de Annecy.
It was the Slamdance Film Festival sixteen aniversary, and they called Nico Casavecchia to make the opening credits for this year.
Nico invited me to construct his own design character, and to animate it in stop motion. It has a specially custom built skeleton, and different textures covers , made from fabrics, ties and laces. I made the big bird mask following the same concept.
This movie was selected for the 2010 edition of Annecy International Animation Film Festival.
